Common Sense is a parent led group for children with a Visual Impairment and their families in Dorset and Hampshire. We believe that the support and understanding of other parents in a siimilar situation is invaulable!

We also look to support each other through medical, educational and emotional hurdles, and to enpower our children with the best services out there, to enable them to become all they can be.

Children with a visual impairment are pretty rare, so for most of our children in  mainstream schools, they may not know any other children with a visual impaiment, so we look to nurture friendships so that they have the opportunity to have both sighted and visually impaired friends.
